Shannon Stumm
Executive, Operations & Events
Shannon Stumm is an experienced marketing and operations professional with a background spanning advertising, healthcare, and corporate management. A graduate of Marquette University, she began her career in the advertising industry, where she built a strong foundation in strategic communication and brand development.
She later transitioned to a major health system’s Marketing and Public Relations department, supporting initiatives to enhance community engagement and strengthen brand visibility. Shannon then served as Regional Marketing Manager for a large health club chain, where she developed targeted marketing strategies and led large-scale events to drive growth and awareness.
Currently, Shannon oversees operations at Stumm, managing two office locations, coordinating company meetings and events, and supervising the Commission and Accounts Payable departments. She is recognized for her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to drive efficiency across teams.
Johanna Koehler
Director of Human Resources
Johanna brings over two decades of progressive HR leadership across consulting, healthcare and hospitality. Her career has focused on both established company enhancements as well as growing the human resources function within smaller companies as they prepare for growth.
Johanna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master’s in Human Resources from Loyola University Chicago, and her Senior Professional in HR Certification.
Johanna spends her free time walking with her dogs, reading and vacationing whenever possible.
Kellie Nelson
Payroll and Accounts Payable Coordinator
Kellie brings a sharp eye for detail and a love of numbers to her role as Payroll and Accounts Payable Coordinator. With a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Illinois State University and three years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable at an accounting firm, she’s built a strong foundation in financial operations and process management.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, swimming, and exploring new places with her husband and two kids — always on the lookout for their next family adventure.
Sarah Dem
Operations & Events Coordinator
Sarah lived most of her life in Germany and started her career as a flight attendant. Upon moving to the states, she joined a consulting firm as an administrative assistant to Executive level staff. Here at Stumm Insurance, she is happy to be part of the Operations & Events team planning memorable events and contributing directly to the efficient functioning of our operations.
In Sarah’s free time, she enjoys gardening, traveling, baking, and hiking.
Jamie Lundberg
Operations & Events Manager
Jamie grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and graduated from Northern Illinois University. From the early age of 16, she was driven to the service industry, working in movie theaters, bakeries and restaurants, and then to country clubs and a hospitality company following her graduation from college. In her position at Stumm Insurance, Jamie most enjoys contributing to the planning of our many staff appreciation events and onboarding technology for new employees.
In her free time, Jamie enjoys live music, reading, photography, traveling, biking, trying new restaurants, and watching/attending Chicago sports events.
