Vanessa Sawyer
Account Executive- Sales & Implementation
Vanessa joined Stumm Insurance in 2015 with nearly 20 years of experience in operations management, finance and human resources. She is an NIU graduate with a BS in Business Administration and has held her PHR certification since 2012. Vanessa appreciates the dynamic and close-knit culture Stumm provides and enjoys working with the sales team to onboard new clients. She spends her free time with her family, and loves gardening, yoga, and her cats.
Stephanie Willis
Account Manager
Stephanie spent the past 8 years working on the carrier side as a Proposal Specialist, New Business Case Specialist, Small Group Sales Representative, and finally an Account Executive. She likes the family-centric dynamic at Stumm and looks forward to working with the sales team to assist businesses better understand and manage their benefits.
In her free time, Stephanie runs a cake decorating business and loves sports especially basketball.
Robert Kipferl
Sales Executive
Robert graduated with a degree in Marketing & Communications from Roosevelt University. He started his career as an Account Manager selling toner & managed print services B2B to resellers. From there, Robert moved into an outside sales role with Medline where he worked directly with physicians and their staff ensuring they had the necessary medical supplies, capital equipment, and lab solutions. . In his free time, he enjoys golfing, working out, playing music, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Anthony DeMaria
Vice President of Sales & Implementation
Anthony started his career after college as an account manager with another local insurance agency in 2004. From there, he moved into a sales role with a pharmacy staffing company and then made his way back into the insurance industry, joining BlueCross and BlueShield of Illinois in 2009. Initially at BCBSIL, Anthony was on the local medical sales team and after six years there, he joined their leadership ranks with responsibilities for the dental and ancillary sales and account management teams. Anthony graduated with a degree in Communications from Purdue University. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, playing hockey, coaching hockey, and listening to live music.
Amanda Tezcan
Sales Executive
Amanda graduated from Concordia University with a degree in History and Political Science. Prior to joining Stumm Insurance, Amanda had been working in sales with Orbus Exhibit and Display. She decided to take the leap into employee benefit sales, putting to work her strengths of making new connections and helping other small businesses develop. Outside of work she enjoys getting outside and exploring with her family as much as possible, cooking (especially dessert) and reading.
Delia Irani
Account Manager
Delia graduated with a BS from Northern Illinois University, majoring in Human Resource Management with a minor in Marketing. Prior to joining Stumm Insurance, and while attending college full time, Delia worked as a Member Specialist in banking, feeding her passion for customer service and meeting new clients. In her free time, Delia enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog Rocco!
Holly Bragaw
Sales Executive
Holly obtained her BS from the University of Kansas in Business Administration. After 16 years of onboarding, managing, and servicing her clients in the custom clothing industry, Holly transferred her skill set to insurance. She started with Stumm in 2020, and prides herself on being both a full-time sales person and mother. She loves meeting new people & the opportunity to enhance the lives of others through the service, education, and experience Stumm Insurance provides. Holly lives in the western suburbs with her husband, two young boys, & dog. Outside of Stumm Insurance, Holly loves being outdoors, working out, and making memories with her friends & family.
Steve Hogan
VP Sales & Marketing
Steve began his insurance career in 1985 with the sale and delivery of quality employee benefit plans and teamed up with Stumm Insurance in 2012. A proud graduate of University of Illinois, Steve is an avid Illini fan. The best thing about working at Stumm is the opportunity to serve. “You can get everything you want by helping others get what they want.” In his spare time, Steve enjoys volunteering in the community in which he lives, golf, and travel.
Jonathon Schmidt
VP Sales & Marketing
Jonathon started in the employee benefits world in January of 2012 as the first salesperson at Stumm Insurance. He left a career in banking to reinvent himself, and work towards a goal of being an employee who can make a difference at an organization. Jon played tennis at Northern Illinois University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Marketing. When he’s not in the office, Jon spends time with his family, sits on multiple not-for-profit boards and is an avid outdoorsman.
Kristin Stumm
Kristin began her professional career in 1998 after graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in Marketing and minor in Computer Applications. After working for a number of years in the Computer Consulting industry, and then taking some time to be a stay-at-home Mom, Kristin joined Stumm Insurance in 2012 as a Medicare Specialist. At Stumm, she enjoys assisting many of Stumm’s clients and friends navigate their Medicare options. In her spare time, Kristin enjoys spending time with family, playing tennis and traveling to new places.
