Claire was born and raised in Dixon, Illinois and attended Northern Illinois University where she graduated with her Bachelors in Elementary Education, and a Minor in Art. She taught middle school for 8 years, and during that time she earned her Master’s in Literacy from the University of Kansas. Claire’s time in the classroom grew her passion for building relationships, helping others, and problem solving – the same passions she has now carried over to her role at Stumm Insurance.

Claire is a life-long Cubs fan, and loves reading, listening to music or a good podcast, cheering on the Bears, going to concerts, drawing, painting, and Diet Coke. Most importantly, Claire loves spending time with her husband and son, and their mini-long haired dachshund Stevie.
